RAIN
Sometimes, I get caught in sudden downpours. Sometimes, I seek out the rain to take photos! :)
The photo above was taken during an intense storm, at dusk, while crossing the Lions Gate Bridge. Some of the ones below taken during those "monsoon-like" days in Vancouver – when it rains, nonstop and heavily, for hours and hours...
Even though taking photos in the rain is not exactly pleasant (to put it mildly!), I like the way it can turn everything almost black and white (i.e. despite appearances, none of the photos below are B&W shots!). Or on the other end of the spectrum, intensify colours, with neon-like saturation.
